The rules are simple and easy to follow:
1. Respect Others.
2. Respect Other’s Property.
3. Follow Directions.
4. Follow SRHS rules outlined in your handbook.
5. There will be no Ipods, CD players, MP3 players, or other listening devises allowed in class.
6. Cell phones should not be seen or heard in class.
7. Cheating will not be tolerated.
Consequences for not following these rules will result in one or more of the following:
1. New Seating Arrangement.
2. Conference with the Teacher.
3. Parent Contact.
4. Parent/Teacher Conference.
5. Conference with Mr. Bonney or Mr. Carter.
6. Electronic devises will be confiscated and given to the office if they are detected.
7. If you get caught cheating a zero will be given on the assignment or test you cheated on and your parents will be contacted.
Grading Policy:
Homework 40%
Tests 50%
Final Test 10%
You will be required to complete daily homework assignments. Late work because of school approved absences will be the only homework accepted late. I will record homework on a daily basis and will spot check assignments a couple of times per week to see if you are being honest about your scores. If you are more than two points off of the score you claim to have received you will receive a zero on that assignment. All homework will be corrected in class to check for understanding and will aid you in getting acceptable grades on tests. You will have one week to make up missing assignments. When they are erased off of the white assignment board it is too late to turn them in.
You are to be on time for class every day with book, paper, pencil, and assignment on hand. If you are tardy you will receive a zero on that days assignment. You will have the opportunity to replace that zero by coming in to Encore or in the morning within one week and serving 20 minutes with me. If you choose not to do that the zero will be added in to your grade. An admit slip for absences or tardies is required at the beginning of class. If you must go to the office to get an admit slip after the tardy bell has rang it will cost you a tardy. Two passes will be given for you to use during the trimester. (Medical emergencies will be considered on an individual basis.)
