Course Description

10th Grade English 2A and 2B

This course is designed for 10th grade students and expands the "self-exploration" theme of the 9th grade to include people and customs beyond the individual. It includes short stories, poetry, essays, and drama. Integrated with the course is the study of basic grammar and sentence skills, along with subordination and coordination of ideas and vocabulary development. Original student writing will be stressed as reflections of individual philosophies.
