Personal Finance Syllabus

 

This is a one semester class that covers the following topics:

Consumer Protection
Consumer Management Skills
Responsible Choices
Career Decisions
Health of the Economy
Banking and Checking Accounts
Credit
Savings
Investments
Insurance for car, health, life
Transportation
Housing

Grading is on a point system (each question answer is worth one point)
Total points are divided by the percentages: 

90-100  =A

Below 60=  F

 

Makeup for excused absents will be due within 2 days or upon approval of the instructor.  The discipline will be aligned with the District Policy.  Tardies will be 20 minutes detention for the 1st, 40 min. for the second, and 60 min. for the 3rd.  Habitual tardies will be addressed with the Vice-Principal.

Please do not touch the equipment in the room unless I have instructed you to. 

Students will need to bring a pencil or pen every day.

Please respect others and the equipment.
