Course Title:               Piano Lab
Instructor:                  Deanne Casperson
Prerequisite:               Audition/Instructor Approval
Course Objectives:     Students will learn piano skills tailored to their specific needs.  The
course will include sight reading, basic music theory, improvisation, and
other piano skills.  This course will be taught outside of the regular    school day.

Materials:                   Some materials will be provided –

method books and/or metronome may
be required.  
Fee:                             none

Tardy Policy:              Points will be taken off their lesson grade.
Attendance Policy:     100 points are given for each lesson – if the student has an unexcused absence, 0 points will be given for that absence. 
Make-Up Policy:         Lessons and/or practice points may be made up at the discretion of the teacher.

IPOD/Cell Phones:     Cell phones & IPODs are not allowed in classes at SRHS. 
1st Infraction:  Taken and given to office (no warnings this year)
Grading Procedure:   Students will be graded on their lesson attendance and practice sheets.

• All music & equipment checked out to the student during the trimester must be returned or paid for.
