Grading Policy:
Homework 20%
Participation 20%
Quizes 20%
Tests 30%
Final 10%

Homework Policy:
This is a math class and daily math homework is cery important. You will be required to complete daily homework assignments. Late homework, because of school-approved absences will be the only homework accepted late. Homework will be corrected and recorded on a daily basis to check for understnding and will aid you in getting acceptave grades on tests and quizzes. Homework not completely done will be graded with credit given to the completed problems. You have 5 school days to make up an assignment due to excused absence. You have a daily participation grad of 40 points per day. Failure to bring a pencil, text-bookm notebook paper, a calculator, and your assignments results in zero points for that day of participation

Tardy Policy:
You are to be on time for class every day. If you are tardy you will recive a zero on that day's assignment. You will, however, have the opprotunity to ereplace that zero by coming in and serving twenty minutes within two day of tardy. The twenty minutes can be served in the morning or during Encore. An admit slip for avsences or tasrdies is requred at the beginning of class. If an admit slip is not available, you will go to the office immeadiatly, get the admit slip, and owe me 20 minutes within the next two days.

Materials needed:
1.Notebook
2.Several #2 pencils
3.Four function calculator

IPOD/Cell Phones:
Cell phones and IPODS will be confiscated if they are seen or used for text messaging during class time. Cell phones cannot be used as calculatros.
